The Deep Tech Forum event is hosting a one-of-a-kind competition for University students in the UAE, USA, KSA, India, South Africa, and Europe to win not only a $10K investment and the accolade of winning the "Best Deep Tech Student Project, 2022". 

If you have passion for Deep Tech and have a game changing business idea, then this competition is for you! Be bold, be innovative, seize the opportunity to be judged by some of the industry’s leaders and become the next Deep Tech entrepreneur.

Competition Guidelines

Simply create a business plan linked to one of our Deep Tech industries below, submit by midnight the May 15th, 2022 and be in with a chance to win! Shortlisted entries will be chosen to pitch to our esteemed panel of judges at the Deep Tech Forum event via Zoom on the 25th of May.

You must present a business plan covering:

  • Executive Summary
  • Company Description
  • Products and Services
  • Market Analysis
  • Strategy and Implementation
  • Organization and Management Team
  • Financial Plan and Projections

Submit your business plan linked to one of the following categories:  

  • Space  
  • Smart/Conscious Cities  
  • Healthcare  
  • AI/Robotics  
  • Quantum Science 

The business plan must align with our high-level objectives of utilizing Deep Tech for sustainability and impact.

The competition ends at midnight 30th April, 2022. No submissions will be accepted after this date.

Terms & Conditions

  • Your submission must be completely original and your own work. 
  • The competition prize is for the winning project/business. The plan can be submitted by a max team of 5 students.
  • Any student who is enrolled in a UAE, USA, KSA, South Africa, European, or Indian University is allowed to participate in this competition. You must provide proof of your student status and your University ID/enrollment status.
  • Shortlisted submissions will need to present a 10 minute presentation (elevator pitch) to be given to the judging panel on a live Zoom event.
  • The rules of the competition may be amended by the judging panel from time to time.
  • The judging panel of the Deep Tech Forum reserves the right to disqualify any entry, that in its judgment, violates the letter or the spirit of the Competition guidelines, processes and rules of the Deep Tech Forum Student Competition, 2022.
  • The decisions of the judging panel are final and binding.

Winners and Prizes

Winners will be announced on the first day of the Deep Tech Forum event on the 25th May, 2022.

The prize is $10,000 US Dollars to be directly invested into the winning business.

The winning student or team will be awarded the title of, “Best Deep Tech Student Project, 2022”.
